Event Description:
With hectic schedules and demands from the outside world, we often neglect

our inner selves at the expense of our mental health. In this Inspiring Conversation,

Laurier researchers will share two resources we can draw upon to build ourselves up:

 solitude and spirituality.

Sybil Geldart, a registered psychologist and associate professor of Psychology,

will explain the benefits of alone time and self-reflection. Florence Juma, a registered

psychotherapist and faculty member at Martin Luther University College, will discuss

how spiritual resources can have positive effects on mental health and well-being.

Their conversation will be moderated by Dr. Andrew Miki (MA ’01), a registered psychologist.
